Sex Registry Offices in Maryland

Each of the 23 counties in Maryland, along with Baltimore City, has a "designated local law enforcement unit" responsible for handling in-person registration for Sexual Offenders. Regardless of the tier level, all registered sex offenders (RSO) will visit the local office within the county they live to handle registration requirements. These law enforcement locations are also called "Sex Registry offices". 

In some cases registrations and oversight are handled by local Sheriff offices and in other cases it's a local police department. Some of the offices accept walk-ins, while other require appointments. Some offices require email communication, while others only accept phone-based registration updates. 

Each location has their own policies and procedures on how they interact with registered individuals and the public.
