Mock Trials Consultant (Focus Groups)
Trial Preparation Services (Mock Trials & Focus Groups)
Focus Groups are a critical step in the trial preparation process.
When used correctly, a focus group can be invaluable — whether it is confirming information that an attorney already believes, or learning new information, this type of qualitative research can be very helpful.
Our focus groups are specifically designed to be flexible and fast-to-implement. Traditional research firms can take weeks to schedule a focus group, develop the research, and finalize recruiting — making it difficult for law firms who need a fast turnaround time.
We understand the constraints of time in the legal process. Our focus groups can be set up quickly and can be held in-person or online. We can tailor the structure of the research on the areas of trial preparation where you want to focus — from opening or closing statements, to reactions to evidence, to jury reactions to witnesses, and more.

Why work with us
We have a database of available participants throughout Maryland across various counties and can recruit quickly in a new county— allowing us the flexibility to implement on short notice — and typically at a 25–35% less cost than traditional research firms.
Additional research options include evidence-review, witness testimony reaction analysis, opening and closing strategy, and other shorter, less-expensive options when a full mock trial isn’t needed.
Founding partner Mike Levengood has been involved in focus groups and other types of qualitative and quantitative research for more than 20 years.
